Discover a Life-Changing Adult Day Program

See how socialization and engagement can light a new spark for your loved ones with Alzheimer’s or other dementias

When adults from around the Charlton and Worcester area start coming to the Vista at The Overlook Adult Day Program, there is a renewed sense of satisfaction, comfort and relaxation. That’s because our model of socialization and inclusivity has been known to revive one’s spark and dramatically improve the day-to-day quality of life for loved ones with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.

Vista provides a safe, structured environment in a beautifully designed location where your loved ones can engage in purposeful activities, receive a nutritious lunch & snacks, and find friendship and fun throughout the day with us. If there is a talent, interest or hobby, we try to cater to it! Here are just a few of the experiences we offer throughout the week:

  • Local artists visit to lead multi-session painting activities
  • We explore musical instruments (and even have the occasional drum circle!)
  • Private fitness instructors offer structured exercise routines
  • Visits from certified yoga instructors
  • Participants enjoy baking and cooking their favorite foods and treats
  • And so much more!

And not to be minimized, there is immense peace of mind for you that your loved one is feeling valued and being engaged throughout the day. The goal of the Vista at The Overlook Adult Day Program is to provide a place for individuals with cognitive impairment from Alzheimer’s or other dementias to feel independent, capable and included. And we can’t wait to show you around!
